There has been a working mill on the site since Saxon times, and the watermill produces the whole grain flour used in the bakery which produces bread for the restaurant and food shop. The restaurant itself serves delicious local fare, with most of the ingredients being sourced from within thirty miles. There is dedication to environmentally sound produce and the daily changing menu reflects the high quality of the ingredients.
