Exmouth
Exmouth has a flat, sandy beach stretching over two miles. The spacious resort also has fabulous parks and gardens and a wide promenade lined with shops. The beach itself can be quite dangerous for swimming along some stretches, due to strong tidal currents. There are however many signs to provide advice. During the Whitsun bank holiday until the first week in September, there is a lifeguard present on the beach between 10.30am and 5.30pm.
There is so much to do at this wonderful seaside town. There is all manner of water sports, entertainment, shops and places to eat. In the summer months there are donkey rides and swing boats available.
Parking : There is ample parking in Exmouth with a number of large car parks with easy access to the beach and amenties.
Dogs : During 1st May and 30th September dogs are not allowed on the main section of the beach.
