Guided tours are available around the house, all starting from the castle gallery, where you can see some of the family memorabilia, including the 17th Earl's coronet, worn for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. There is also a 'safari' through the deer park, allowing you to see the wonderful grounds of the castle as well as the herd of fallow deer on the estate.

The castle and grounds are open daily (except Saturday) throughout spring and summer, from 11:00 to 16:30. For the height of the season (July and August) the castle remains open until 17:30 and there are falconry displays in the gardens.
